One week from tomorrow Tanner and I will be at the Wausau airport starting our journey into Haiti. Immunizations are up to date for the both of us, accepting donations of vitamins and children's Tylenol and Ibuprofen and one pancake breakfast fundraiser completed. Still need to fill our Malarone prescription which is meant to help prevent malaria which we will start taking 2 days before we leave.
I am so grateful for those who've been able to donate medicine and financial support for this trip expecially during difficult financial times for many.
Thankful to those who have contacted me with concerns about the increased cases of cholera now in Haiti. We are travelling to an area that is further north of the specific location with the majority of cases and I believe that with taking the right precautions we can stay healthy and safe.
